Manage Your Delivery Time
Newegg provides the estimated delivery time to customers on both the product pages (PDP) and during the checkout process. Estimated time is shown between when the order was placed by the customer and the order delivery date. By configuring an accurate delivery time, your listing helps ensure a good customer experience and possible increase in sales. To ensure proper lead-time, business days will be counted only and will not count weekends or holidays.
NOTE: Customers are more likely to buy items that have a faster delivery time.
On-time Order Delivery Rate is the sum of on-time delivered orders divided by the total number of orders should be delivered in a specified time period. On-time delivery refers to the package delivered equal or before the due date. The due date is calculated as the sum of the shipping service selected by customer and the On-time order fulfillment date (0 business days).
In addition, sellers are now able to set the lead-time of 2 days or less based on overall seller account level or the option to have the system automatically set their lead-time. This is based on the account’s historical performance, eliminating the need for manual estimates or configuration.
