Updates to the Authorized Shipping Carrier List
Sellers should always ship orders with a carrier approved by Newegg Marketplace and in a manner that provides a valid, tracking number. To do so, we’ve made a few updates to our Authorized Carriers List in which we’ve removed and added some carriers.
Effective July 1, 2023, the following carriers will no longer be on the authorized list. For any questions, please contact datafeeds@newegg.com. In the meantime, please consider using one of the carriers on the authorized list.

INFORM Consumers Act Information
Newegg is to comply with the INFORM Consumers Act by June 27, 2023. Please make sure that you log into Seller Portal and verify that your account information is accurate. By not doing so, your account is at risk for deactivation.
Sponsored Email Ad Campaign
Sponsored emails allows sellers to add products into email advertising to enhance reach and engagement. It is a low-cost, effective way to reach a wider audience and to grow your business.
RMA Processing Window
Please note that processing RMAs must occur within two (2) business days. This change replaced the previous policy of allowing a maximum of three (3) business days for RMA processing.

Restocking Fee Update
Restocking fees are now waived under the following conditions: items sold as “used” and unopened items under 50lbs returned for personal reasons.
Price Safeguard – Item Level Setting
Please note that if sellers enable the item level price setting, the system will automatically deactivate items that violates the price settings.

Processing Lead Time for Special Orders
Effective June 27, in order to not have long processing times affect sellers who offer special build-to-order items, we will be allowing customized item level settings for certain sub-categories so that customers can get a better expectation when receiving their orders.
The new logic for Auto Void Date will be On-time Ship Day + (x) days. Previously, the Auto Void Date was Order Date + 14 days.
The following subcategories will be in effect for item level processing lead time:
- Desktop PCs
- Notebooks
- 2-in-1 Laptops
- Gaming Notebooks

Sponsored Ad Campaign Updates
Effective June 28, total budget option will no longer be available. Instead, there were be a new monthly budget feature. You will no longer pay more than your monthly budget set each month.
Elite Membership Updates and Fees
Effective July 31, 2023, there will be updates coming to the Newegg Elite Seller membership as well as additional fees for online order processing and high-volume listings that have been no sales for over a year. Please refer to the chart below for the updated changes:
Non-Elite Membership
- Fee raised to $0.99 USD ($1.32 CAD) per unique item sold
- Decrease of up to 100 SKUs (from the previous 500)
Professional Membership
- Price increase to $49.95 USD ($66.51 CAD)
- A+ Content now available
- Sponsored Ad credit of $100
- Increase of up to 6,000 SKUs (from the previous 5,000)
Enterprise Membership
- A+ Content now available
- Sponsored Ad credit of $200
- 8% discount for Shipped by Newegg (SBN) fulfillment
- 8% discount for Shipping Label Service (SLS)
- Increase of up to 12,000 SKUs (from the previous 10,000)
Additional Fees (applies to ALL sellers)
- $0.29 ($0.38 CAD) order processing fee on all orders
- Unsold Listing fee of $0.0050 ($0.0066 CAD) (current active SKUs listed over one year with no sales)
