What does Global Price Sync do?
Global Price Sync allows you to configure activation and price settings for global SKUs at an account level on Newegg. To use this feature, you need to enable Global Price Sync Settings for your account and upload a Price Feed to complete the synchronization.

Enable Global Price Sync Settings
How-To:
- Go to Seller Portal and hover your mouse pointer over your username (upper right corner), then select “Data Feed Settings” > “Global Price Sync Settings.”
- Enable activation sync and/or selling price sync for each country as needed. Additionally, input a markup by percentage if required. Refer to the Function Details below for more information.
- Click the “SAVE” button to save your settings.
Function Details:
- Item Activation Sync: This function allows you to synchronize the Activation Status of global country SKUs with the status of the respective US SKUs. For example, if you check the checkboxes for several countries, the system will synchronize the statuses for those countries’ SKU listings with the respective US SKU listings.
- Sample Scenario(s):(e.g.) If you check the checkboxes for (e.g.) Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Japan, and Oman under the “Item Activation Sync” column, after clicking the “Save” button, the system will be configured to synchronize all the statuses for each of the global countries’ SKU listings to match the statuses of the respective US SKU listings.
- Selling Price: This new functionality allows you to indicate whether you would like to synchronize the Selling Price(s) of global country(ies) SKU listings with the prices of the respective US SKU listings by checking the checkbox(es) under the “Selling Price” column for each of the needed global countries.
- Sample Scenario(s): (e.g.) If you check the checkboxes for (e.g.) the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and Qatar under the “Selling Price” column, after clicking the “Save” button, the system will be configured to synchronize all the prices for each of the global countries’ SKU listings to match the prices of the respective US SKU listings.
- $ Markups (+/-) by %: This new functionality allows you to specify how you would like to configure the Selling Price(s) of global country(ies) SKU listings in relation to the prices of the US SKU listings for each of the required global countries listed in the function.
- Sample Scenario(s):
- (e.g.) If you leave the text box under the “Markup (+/-) by %” empty, as shown in the image above for the United Arab Emirates, after clicking the “Save” button, the system will be configured to synchronize the prices of the SKU listings for the United Arab Emirates to directly match those of the respective US SKU listings.
- (e.g.) If you enter 2.23 (without a minus sign) in the textbox under the “Markup (+/-) by %” as shown in the image above for Japan, after clicking the “Save” button, the system will configure Japan’s SKU listings’ prices to be 2.23% higher than those of the respective US SKU listings’ prices.
- (e.g.) If you enter -1.00 (with a minus sign) in the textbox under the “Markup (+/-) by %” as shown in the image above for Qatar, after clicking the “Save” button, the system will configure Qatar’s SKU listings’ prices to be 1.00% lower than those of the respective US SKU listings’ prices.

Upload Price Feed
How-To:
- Go to Seller Portal and hover your mouse pointer over the list icon (upper left corner), then select “Items” > “Batch Update Price” > “Download File Template” tab.
2. Verify if the box next to “Download template with your items populated in the file” is checked. If it’s not checked, please check it.
3. Click the “DOWNLOAD FILE TEMPLATE” button to send the request to the system for creating the file(s) for download.
4. When the system has completed the request, a download link will be available. Click this link and save the file to your local drive.
5. Open Template: Open the price feed template and set “True” or “False” values under the field name “Sync to Global” for each applicable global SKU.
- True: The system will synchronize the prices for the respective SKU listings to match those of the US SKU listings.
- False: The system will not synchronize the price changes but will allow you to submit other data changes for non-required fields.
6. Save File: Save the file.
7. Upload Template: Under the “Batch Update Price” function, go to the “Upload File” tab and upload the price feed template to complete the global price sync.
