2023 Holiday Restrictions
In anticipation of the upcoming holiday season, Newegg Marketplace will be implementing datafeed processing restrictions. Please be aware that this will affect all Newegg Marketplace platforms. To ensure a smooth experience, we strongly recommend creating your items before the holiday restrictions come into effect. Thank you for your cooperation and happy selling!
Promotional Pricing Safeguard Alert
To help prevent pricing errors when setting promotional pricing, sellers will now need to confirm when the discount exceeds 50% or higher off the current pricing. This ensures that sellers are pricing their items correctly when it comes to promotions.
Instant Refund Returns
To help improve the customer experience, sellers are now able to set up rules to create allowing customers to receive a refund without having them to return the item. This includes setting up an amount threshold.
SPA – Seller SEM Tool
Newegg’s Search Engine Marketing (SEM) tools empower sellers to promote their product across multiple search platforms including Google PLA, Bing Ads and Newegg affiliate channels.
Pre-defined Return Policy Updates
Coming soon, to help better align with the return policy updates in the last few months, we will be requiring ALL sellers to use our pre-defined return policy. This will be aligned with Newegg’s return policies. Sellers will be able to add additional return information if needed. More information will be provided soon.
Enhanced Item Description with the Help of AI
To better assist sellers with saving cost on labor and providing sellers with written content for their listing, Newegg has implemented the support of AI. During item creation, you just need to provide a few details and let AI do the work for you.
