Create a Sponsored Brand Ad

Newegg Sponsored Brand Ads optimizes your ads for top spots in search results, enhancing visibility for brand owners. It showcases your products through engaging ads, making them more discoverable to customers.

Sponsored brand ads on Newegg align customer searches with relevant seller ads through targeted keywords in subcatalogs, aiming to boost product sales by reaching the right audience.

Where does your ad appear?

Sponsored Brand Ads appear on Newegg with custom banners that vividly express the core values and personality of your brand.


  1. Open ☰ and navigate to SP > Marketing > Sponsored Ads.
  2. Click ‘Create Campaign’
  3. Within the popup select ‘Sponsored Brands’ then ‘Continue‘.

Information needed for each section will be listed. Simply scroll down to to see the next required section and information.

Click ‘Save’ to complete your campaign.

Create Campaign:

The start of your new campaign!

    • Campaign Name. Choose a clear and memorable title that accurately reflects your campaign’s purpose
    • Start date and End Date. Specify when the campaign will start and end. If you plan to have current campaigns last indefinitely, you can select “No End Date”
    • Brand. Select the brand you would like to promote. Only the brands you own are available.
    • Subcategory. Select the subcategory you would like to promote. Only subcategories which associated with selected brand are available.

Search Networks:

    • When people search for terms that are relevant to your product, ads can appear in Google PLAs, Microsoft Shopping Ads, and other Newegg advertising partner networks.

Add Products:

Add your listings that you want to promote in the same campaign.

    • Choose between 10 to 50 (max) products for your campaign.
    • Ensure these products are closely related to each other, as they will share the same targeting methodology, keywords. They should align with the messaging in your campaign’s headline.
    • If a selected product becomes out of stock or inactive, the system will replace it with a similar item automatically.

 Creative:

    • Logo: Only use your own seller logo. Avoid using brand logos of products you resell as a third-party retailer.
    • Headline: This must be in English language, have no profanity/distasteful language, or spelling errors, must be grammatically correct, and not violate Newegg content policies. This can be a maximum of 102-character limit depending on which characters are used.
    • Landing Page: This can be your seller store, a search string link, or a filtered store result page, but it must be within the Newegg domain
    • Custom Image : Images play a crucial role in capturing attention, creating lasting impressions, and making our ads more engaging and memorable. Image size requirements: 1200px (width) * 628px (height); Maximum size: 5M; only GIFs are allowed.

Bid:

There are different bids depending on one of the three subcategory levels you choose.

    • Platinum Category: Minimum of $50 each day to prioritize your brand. (Daily impressions up to 10,000)
    • Gold Category: Minimum of $20 each day to prioritize your brand. (Daily impressions between 1,000 – 10,000)
    • Silver Category: Minimum of $5 each day to prioritize your brand. (Daily impressions under 1,000)

Dynamic Bid:

  1. This option once checked allows the system to monitor the ads auction and if there is a higher competitor, system will auto increase your bid

How to export campaign report

Once your ad is live, take advantage of our reporting tool to download and assess your campaign’s performance.

  1. Open ☰ and navigate to SP > Marketing > Sponsored Ads.
  2. Click on ‘Create Report’ at the top of the “All Campaigns” section.
  3. Click on the New Report button (upper right corner of Create Campaign Report). Set the criteria of your report then click Create button.
  4. When the report is ready click the ‘Download’ link under the Operation column.
