Issue Courtesy Credit

Issuing a courtesy credit will provide a credit back to the customer.  Note this will not refund customers for taxes, commissions, and other fees collected by Newegg.

Available platforms: Newegg.com, Newggbusiness.com, Newegg.ca

How-To:

  1. Go to Seller Portal and hover your mouse pointer over the list icon (upper left corner) then select Orders > Order List.
  2. Select the Shipped tab and enter the order number then click the SEARCH button to list the order then click the ISSUE COURTESY CREDIT button.
  3. Issue Courtesy Credit:
    1. Select Refund Reason and enter credit.  Note you cannot go beyond the Order Remain Refund.
    2. Enter a memo if needed.
    3. Click Submit Credit button to process the request.
    4. NOTE: There will appear a notification for the seller to confirm regarding the issuance of a full Refund. When a seller issues an Item-Not-Received RMA refund using Courtesy Credit, a prompt will indicate that they can create it through the RMA system by selecting the Item Not Received reason.
