The Restocking Fee Policy for Marketplace sellers will be updated effective November 1, 2025.
Sellers will be able to set up restocking fees in Newegg Seller Portal starting November 1.
These fees can be applied only to orders placed on or after that date.
1. For Domestic Orders (Newegg.com Domestic, Newegg.ca and neweggbusiness.com)
Sellers can charge a Restocking Fee if all the following conditions are met:
- The sold item condition is New (NOT Refurbished)
- The return is due to the buyer’s personal reason (e.g., No Longer Needed)
- The item has been opened
- The product belongs to the following categories: VGA, HD, Motherboard (MB), TV, or Projector
Allowed Restocking Fee Range:
The Restocking Fee can range from 0% up to the maximum Restocking Fee value (15%).

2. For International Orders (Newegg.com Global)
Sellers can charge a Restocking Fee if all the following conditions are met:
- The sold item condition is either New or Refurbished
- The return is due to the buyer’s personal reason (e.g., No Longer Needed)
- AND at least one of the following applies:
- The item has been opened
OR
- The item has been opened

- The item weighs 50 lbs or more
Allowed Restocking Fee Range:
The Restocking Fee can range from 0% up to the maximum Restocking Fee value (15%).
