Shipped by Newegg (SBN) Inventory Reimbursement Policy

As part of our commitment to sellers enrolled in our Shipped by Newegg (SBN) services, items that are lost or damaged by the carrier operated by or on behalf of Newegg will be replaced by a new item of the same SBN SKU or reimbursed:

Eligibility

For an item to be eligible under this policy, all of the following must be true:

  • The item is registered in SBN at the time it is lost or damaged
  • The item complies with marketplace product restrictions
  • You have sent us the exact items and quantities stated in your inbound shipment list
  • The shipment for the item is not in canceled or deleted status
  • The item is not pending disposal or was not disposed of at your request or because we have exercised a right to do so
  • The item is not defective and was not damaged by a customer
  • When a lost or damaged item claim is filed, under review, and during any appeals, the seller’s account must be in normal status

Claim Reimbursement Policy

As described in section 8.3 of SBN Terms and Conditions last updated 6/21/2024, below are the compensation terms for damaged and lost items in warehouse and in transit:

  • For SBN fulfilled orders- full replacement value proven by a valid commercial invoice
  • For Multi-Channel orders- full replacement value proven by a valid commercial invoice
  • For Shipping Label Services (SBS)- package loss or damage claim would be filed with the transportation carrier on behalf of seller (as shipper); seller will be reimbursed upon the approval of the claim by the transportation carrier and amount is based on the valid commercial invoice up to $100

Claim Process

  • Seller will need to contact SBN@Newegg.com for claim assistance
  • SBN will request order information to be provided for claim processing
  • Claim will be submitted with carrier if eligible
  • Once claim is closed, seller will be notified of claim results by email
  • Claim process can take up to 2-4 weeks
