Reserved Balance Logic
- The reserved balance will be the greatest of the following:
- Average monthly sales volume of the last 6 months with a 10% factor.
- The latest month’s sales volume with a 10% factor.
- Average monthly CB & RMA & Claims of the last 6 months.
- Latest one-month CB & RMA & Claims.
- Open RMA & Claims.
- NOTE: If an order is identified with the status “Blocked Due To Reserve“, that order will then be held for 60 days from delivery date.

Definitions:
- Reserved Balance: This is the amount that Newegg temporarily withholds to cover potential claims, returns, and chargebacks on your account.
- Previous Reserved Balance: This is the amount that was temporarily withheld from the previous remittance.
- Potential Reserve Amount in Next Payment: This pertains to the amount that will be withheld temporarily from your next remittance to cover potential claims, returns, and chargebacks. Please note that this amount changes daily depending on the transactions on your account.
Reserved balance display sections:
- Location: Go to Seller Portal and hover your mouse pointer over the list icon (upper left corner), then select “Reports” > “Payments.”
- Recent Activity: Displays Previous Reserved Balance & Potential Reserve Amount in Next Payment.
- Settlement View: Displays Previous Reserved Balance & Reserve Balance.
