Automate Pricing

About

This feature is to help sellers keep their prices competitive by allowing the price to automatically adjust to a repricing formula setup by the seller. Additionally, this feature has added a new strategy that allows price comparison between multiple sites and is now available to all sellers.

Available platforms: Newegg.com, Neweggbusiness.com, Newegg.ca

How-To:

Navigate to Automate Pricing repricing tool

• Navigate to Items >  Automate Pricing
  
• On this page, you can setup to automatically have your prices change based on dollar amount or the percentage of difference of competitors price.

1. SEARCH – Type in the name of a pre-existing strategy that you want to view or edit.

Create a new Strategy

• Click on Create Strategy button to start making a new pricing strategy.
• For this demonstration it is titled “Find Best National Price”
  • In the Create Strategy dialog box type in what will be your new strategy name, and
    fill in the following:
    

     STRATEGY TYPE:

  • Buy Box Price Strategy – The data will be based on the competing prices for the Buy Box.
  • External Price Strategy – The data will be based on the competing prices from external sources.
    

    BEAT BY AMOUNT   &   UNIT TYPE:

  • Percentage – The value will be represent a percentage difference.
  • USD Dollar  – The value will represent a dollar amount difference (in USD currency).
• Click [Create] when you’ve made your selections.
• You can then have access to the [MORE] menu where you can –
  • PAUSE – to stop a strategy for a period of time.
  • EDIT STRATEGY – to change a strategy.
  • DELETE STRATEGY – to permanently remove
    

Manage Items

• • Now that you have a strategy to work with click [Manage Items] for that strategy to assign items to it.
    

    FILTER LISTINGS:

  • All Listings – List all strategies
  • In This Strategy – List only the strategies you that match this name
  • Paused – List only the strategies you paused
    

    BULK ACTION:

  • Edit Items – Edit the item on this strategy
  • Paused Items  – Pause the item on this strategy
  • Resume Items – Restart the item to be subject to this strategy.
  • Assign to Strategy – Pick an item to add to this strategy.
• Select the items you want to include
  
• Select “Assign to Strategy” from the pull down menu.
  
• Select “Assign to Strategy” from the pull down menu.
  
  
• Your items have been added to that strategy
  

Bulk Upload Items

• To add items to a strategy in bulk, click the [UPLOAD ITEMS] link.
  

BULK UPLOAD ITEMS:

1. 1. 1. Download the template – Provides a template in your designated downloads  folder to use to upload items to your chosen pricing strategy.
         
         The excel template contains four tabs:
         * Instructions – How to add the items to a strategy
         * Data Definitions – describes the fields
         * Sample – An example of how to upload your items
         * Pricing Template – the actual field where you place your data
      2. Upload file – Drop the file here when it is ready.
